Winslow-Gerolamy Motors Limited has been proudly serving the Central Ontario trucking community since 1952. What started as a small, family-driven business has grown into a trusted International truck dealership, built on generations of hard work, strong relationships, and a shared commitment to keeping customers moving.
Where It All Began
The story begins in 1952, when Al Winslow founded Winslow Motors in Peterborough, Ontario. At the time, the focus was simple: provide dependable trucks and take care of the people who rely on them every day.
About ten years later, Dave Gerolamy joined the business, bringing with him the same values and work ethic. Together, they built the foundation of what would become Winslow-Gerolamy Motors Limited, a family-owned truck dealership rooted in trust, service, and long-term relationships.
A Family Built Business
As the years went on, the business didn’t just grow, it stayed in the family.
In 1970, Mike Winslow joined the team, starting in the parts department and working his way through different areas of the business before becoming President. His hands-on experience and understanding of every part of the operation helped shape the way the dealership supports its customers today.
Tom Gerolamy followed in 1978, taking on a key role in parts management, and later, in 1986, Steve Gerolamy joined the sales team, continuing to strengthen the dealership’s connection with truck customers across Central Ontario.
By the late 1990s and early 2000s, the next generation stepped in. Andrew Winslow and Chris Winslow joined the business, followed by Jake Gerolamy and Dave Gerolamy. Each brought their own experience and perspective, but shared the same commitment to doing things the right way.
Andrew’s journey from service technician to General Manager reflects the kind of hands-on, ground-up approach that has always defined the dealership. Chris, Jake, and Dave have played key roles in growing the parts side of the business, helping support customers across Ontario.
Today, that legacy continues with a fourth generation. Parker Winslow and Nick Winslow have begun their careers as Truck and Coach Technicians, carrying forward the same values the business was built on.
Growing Alongside Our Customers
Over the decades, the trucking industry has changed, and Winslow-Gerolamy Motors Limited has grown alongside it.
What started as a local truck dealership in Peterborough has expanded into a full-service operation offering truck sales, parts, service, and fleet support. New technologies, advanced diagnostics, and modern equipment have become part of everyday operations, but the goal has always stayed the same: help customers stay on the road and keep their businesses running.
